Hi everyone!
Unfortunately I have been so busy that I have not had the chance to do a costume look, but I thought I would tell you guys about a look I did earlier in the week: The no liner cat eye.
I love this look, as it is so easy, but still very glamorous.
To start, I filled my eyebrows with Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade in Soft Brown. I then applied Benefit Lemon Aid Primer to my eyelids and set with transluscent powder. The yellow pigment in the primer helps to combat any sallowness or redness on the eyelids and creates a neutral and even canvas to work with.
I achieved the sharp line of eyeshadow using Shadow Shields. Shadow Shields are designed to stick to your face under your eyes and catch any eyeshadow fall out. I applied them from the corner of my eye upward towards my temple to create the clean line.
For my eyeshadow, I used the new Anastasia Beverly Hills “Self-Made” Palette. First, using a fluffy blending brush, I applied Sherbert above my crease as the transition colour. Next, I applied “Hot Chocolate” into the crease using the same brush. I further defined the corners with “Spirit Rock” using a pencil brush. I then used “Buttery” to highlight my lids, inner corners and brow bones. Finally I accentuated my eyelid using “Pink Champagne.”
I carefully removed the shadow shields. Then applied my MAC Gigablack lash mascara and Eyelure “Texture” lashes to finish off the look.
I am absolutely obsessed with the “Self-Made” Palette. It offers such a wide variety of colours and texture of shadows.
